JUPITER, the first European exascale-class supercomputer, will be hosted at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) at Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ) and jointly funded by Europe via the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) and Germany (BMBF, NRW-MKW). JUPITER is designed both for highly computationally intensive simulations and for AI applications in science and industry. Inextricably linked to the increased computing power, the aspect of data storage, data processing and data-intensive computing is moving further into the foreground. The scientific lecture program is intended to provide information and offer the opportunity to articulate needs and wishes in this regard.
